Incredible!!! The mod community make CKII blow the scale of what a best game can be. My current favourite is Geheimnisnacht, a Warhammer mod set to the vampire wars (IC2100) and ranging most of the planet and races. They have had enough time to mature into full-blown polished full-featured titles within themselves.
They take CKII out of medieval realism and into fantasy fiction. The best part of the game is the mod-community. This game has many dlc, but they add enough to the game to feel worthwhile as opposed to a scam. A brilliant game about political manouvering in a faudal world. You have to maintain your holdings and manouver the world while grooming your heir so he's capable of taking over your dynasty when you die. You view the world through the perspective of the head of your family, and manipulate the world around you through him and what influence over others he wield. CKII is a grand strategy game played from a dynasty perspective.
